Has there been any study or is there any documentation on the effect of powering up Nion units
with RAW (i.e. direct unfiltered and unstablised) AC power available in most of the developing countries.
Appreciate any info available to ensure best Nion operations.

We always recommend an UPS, and believe that a Surge-X is also important.  With MainFrames, a Surge-X was highly recommended.

Many installs here in the States, the UPS is plugged into a Surge-X.  The Surge-X filters the power, the UPS provides the battery back-up.
Maybe they are looking for Far East distribution...
