It seems that Nware wants to write various XML preference files to the program installation directory upon startup and shutdown. I've seen it complain about plugins/nware/xml/preferences.xml and cobra.config.xml. Perhaps /Documents and Settings/[username or All Users]/Application Data/Nware would be a better place for such things?
